Thank you SO much for uploading this! I've been trying to learn this for a long time, and I can't express my gratitude for your service. You are an amazing animator, and I hope you feel accomplished for helping an amateur sprite animator like me. Thank you so very much!
Cool tutorial even though I don't own flash, It's cool looking at this stuff. And you may want to fix one very minor thing, there was no Adobe Flash CS2, Adobe Flash CS3 was the first version created under the Adobe name. Flash used to be owned by Macromedia before Adobe bought them out in I think 2005 (I assume you already know but just in-case). So it's actually Macromedia Flash 8 is the actual name of the version not Adobe Flash CS2. Not trying to criticize but just trying to point it out a slight error.
Thing is, the sprites have no relation with SSF2, its the McCleod Gaming team that needs the credit. SSF2 is just "another work", and has in now way to be credited. Altough you can google it, or here is the link to SSF2 V0.8 [link]
To actually "Rip" them from gba games on "rom" files, you need specialized software, you can start off at sites like doperoms.com or emu-zone. IF its just to edit recolor, its easilly done with firefox and photoshop
